Dr. Rashidaah completed her graduation (M.B.B.S) from the Topiwala National Medical College (B.Y.L Nair Hospital) in 1993. Subsequently, she did her masters in Ophthalmology i.e, Eye Surgery from Grant Medical College in 1998. Dr. Rashidaah became a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) later in 1998. Subsequently, she completed her International Basic Science Assessment in Ophthalmology (2000) as well as the International Science Assessment in Ophthalmology (2012) form the International Council of Ophthalmology. In 2013, Dr. Rashidaah became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), UK.
Dr. Rashidaah practiced mainly at her home country, India. In 1998, she joined the Pramkshwami Eye Hospital as a Junior Ophthalmic Surgeon. Subsequently, she did a short term fellowship in Glaucoma from L.V. Prasad Eye institute, Hyderabad Hospital In 2003, she joined the L.M Parel Rotary Eye Hospital as a Glaucoma Consultant in Anuditi Eye Care and Prince Aly Khan Hospital from 2003 to 2005.
Dr. Rashidaah has more than 10 years of experience in her field. She has performed more than 5000 surgeries and is skilled in techniques such as extracapsular cataract extraction, manual small incision sutureless surgeries as well as phacoemulsification with foldable intraocular lenses. She is a specialist in dealing with Glaucoma or Eye Pressure related cases and does various surgeries for the same. She is also a regular participant in CMEs and industry conferences. Her research work has also been published in reputed journals.
